Vaulted Ceilings in the Great Room, Dining Room and Master Bedroom and Loft. Kitchen is all hardwood maple dove tail drawer cabinetry with Silestone Quartz countertops.
The flooring is Carlisle 3/4“ Wide-plank North Eastern White Pine Heartwood wood floorings and Slate Porcelain tiles accent the entry, hallway and baths. Full Glass enclosures are installed with custom porcelain tiles for each bath as well as Toto porcelain toilets and reclaimed hardwood vanities with oil rubbed bronze fixtures and hardware. All interior ceilings, walls and closets are covered in Northeastern White Pine 8” wide Tongue and Groove wood with the latest soundproofing techniques. Bedroom doors are gasket sealed and all interior doors are solid 1 3/4” thick Alder wood doors.
Both the Main Home and Carriage House have an insulated concrete foundation (ICF). The FOX blocks are 8 inch poured 5000 psi concrete walls with 2.5 inches of foam on both the inside and outside walls. Impervious to water and insulated to R23 value the foundation is the very best construction technique available in today’s market. Radiant Heating is installed taking advantage of the Solar Thermal radiant tubes to heat the hot water distributed for both heat and domestic uses.
The private 1 acre lake was a feature improvement on the property. Water shed provides the source and it is completely lined and sealed at a graduated 4-14 ft depth. Two aerators pump oxygen into the water to prevent algae stagnation for crystal clear natural filtering. A dam, spillway, and a sandy beach provide safe 4 season recreation enjoyment, but also doubles as a means of providing a source of on site water (1.35M gal) for fire protection as well.
