Critical Mass – Oct 16

With a run of good weather, Pete, Larry, and Ty  were able to knock out  several key steps and now have the log home under lock and key.   The “Mountain King” as Larry puts it, sits up high and mighty. Proud as we all are of her! Thanks Guys!

Perched on the 1.6 acre lot , the Mountain King looks over the forest as Autumn quickly closes in.
12-14 hours a day –  7 days a week……… and still smiling!

While Ron was on his well deserved Columbus Day break with family,  the architect added another 1/2 bath onto the first floor and expanded the second floor bath to include a bathtub in the Master bath.

The powder room was added to accommodate guests and keep the first floor private bath off the guest bedroom

The team finished the balcony roof lines as well as the  8′ wide front porch roof and it looks beautiful!

Here’s a view from the front of the house. Yes……I asked Pete to put the windows back in again above the garage in Bonus Room.

Here’s the latest walkout lower level plans to look over.  A second laundry was added to continue with the flexible theme of the home as well as abundant storage and refining of the interior walls.  A wet bar will be added in the recreation room. The mechanical room will feature the well water tank, the tankless water heater, and the radiant heat system components.

Next steps include Sand Mound installation, Well drilling, and final backfill and grading.  Arty and John have already cleared the mound area.

Stay tuned!
