Captain’s Back on the Deck

The log home retreat sits up proudly on the King Joe Mountain!

Curbside view with all the trimmings!

The boys did a wonderful job of laying the herringbone diagonal decking down this past week while the Captain took a brief retreat. Welcome back Pete!  Trust you are reenergized!  Larry and Ty performed admirably  with a couple of cameo appearances from Dan the Driller and probably could use a break themselves.

The use of herringbone with diagonal placement provides a much more stable platform for the deck as well as a great look

Ronnie and Uncle Andy, the plumbing Dynamic Duo, completed the waste lines and vents for the house this past weekend.  Thanks guys!

Ron and Andy, the Master Plumbers never missed a beat plumbing in the waste and venting……….a good time had by all!

We even worked in some play time on Friday at Lost Trails ATV Park.

Soaring over 2000 feet, Lost Trails ATV park overlooks King Joe’s Mountain. Can you spot the wind tower?

Arty and John have moved the excavator back in for backfilling and Sand Mound  installation this weekend.

All exterior windows and doors are in. We are under lock and key!

Kitchen cabinets, appliances and countertops have been ordered and due in next week. Here’s a peak at  what the layout will look like when competed.

Tawny Oak cabinetry in a rustic setting coupled with slate gray quartz silestone countertops create an inviting kitchen dining area. Can’t wait!
