Marching out of Madness

Street view of the Mountain King with the March snow still on the ground

With Spring upon us and Old Man Winter gasping one last time this year,  we have been busy completing the Mountain King and look forward as the weather lets up.

Plenty of finish work has been accomplished by Pete, our Master Builder, and Nate during this snowy winter.

The workmanship in this log home is second to none.

Finish work included the cedar interior trim, the completion of the oak hardwood flooring, as well as the tongue and groove interior walls.

The glass enclosed shower and tub enclosures are finished and  lighting, interior doors, and hardware are installed.

Porcelain, Oil Rubbed Bronze, and Glass surround this inviting first floor private shower

Remaining tasks are centered on the Fireplace installation, to include the ledge-stone, hearth and mantle. We are waiting for good weather to cut an opening in the log wall and install the fireplace, chimney chase, cap, and piping.

Weather permitting, the garage floor will be poured and the landscaping and driveway will be finished.

Overlooking the family room, the antique finished 3/4 inch full Oak hardwood flooring contrasts the Beaver Mountain hand hewn support columns and square spindle railing

First impression as you round the bend and see her for the first time…. Beautiful, Strong, Safe and Secure!

She’s ready to show as Spring brings in warmer weather and prospective owners.
