Looking Really Good!!! – Nov 18

The core team of Pete, Larry, and Ty have surpassed every expectation. Wouldn’t you agree?

We have turned the corner on the Mountain King.  With a well deserved coat of stain, she is shining through the North West Pocono mountains.  Late Autumn has stripped the trees of their cover and magnificent views abound.

With the exterior 10 inch logs preserved in time for the winter, the Team has been concentrating on interior walls, electrical, plumbing, and flooring. With plumbing pressure test successfully completed on Sunday we are ready to close the walls

Venting through a log home requires careful planning and detailed execution. Interior walls are the only availability to run multilevel options

Our newest Team member is Moustaffa, our tried and true tile pro has been very busy working the entries , baths, kitchen and showers with his porcelain tile magic.

Getting started
IMG_1779
First floor bathroom floor in English Leather Slate porcelain. Porcelain vs Natural slate wins out in appearance, maintenance, and longevity

Powder room follows suit
IMG_1805
The dramatic entry, hall and kitchen were completed in a slate porcelain tile bordered by ceramic faux wood matching both the cabinetry and the wood flooring in the Great room. Diamonds are 3×3 ft placed diagonally across the subfloor areas.

A peak at the completed kitchen floor ready for cabinetry.

Outside, Arty and John continue putting the finishing touches on the sand mound for the septic drainage system.

IMG_1813
Sand mound helps the liquid waste percolate or seep through the soil at a slower rate for soil with a high rock and or clay content. It prevents runoff and assures percolation at the correct rate for absorption
